Costa Rica-Tear sheet
I had a great chance to travel to San Juan, Costa Rica in May to shoot the spring images for Zappos.com’s web images. They are now out and live on the site now(www.zappos.com). It was a great time but very rough. We went down with a core group of people(6peeps) and had 4 days to shoot 60+ looks. Everyone was on task and we ended up making the quota. I walked away from this event with many great images for zappos.com and for my personal collection(I love the beauty of the tropics). I also started shooting more photography for Zappos.com and will be traveling to Ithica, NY soon to shoot the Magalog images…Melanie Vangopoulos is one of the great models I had the chance to work with. She is from NY and is also a great photographer.

Just another weekend scouting trip/hike. From time time I like to just drive out to nowhere land and find hidden gems. This train operator thinks I’m nuts being this far out just walking.

Vivienne Westwood day begins
The grand opening of the Vivienne Westwood store in LA is tonight. I’ll be covering the event for the Zappos Couture team. Victoria Recano will be hosting our UStream event, can’t wait. A lot of celebs for this red carpet event. Crossing my fingers for a smooth show! Hopefully more pics to come. Btw, I gate flying.

I am always reading up on blogs, books and learnig anything and everything there is on photography and video production… Anthony Kramer has setup this site (http://www.videocopilot.net/) and made some product that he sells on it that is great for his After Effects tutorials. His down to earth explinations and great humor makes watching his class so easy and funn to learn. IF your an After Effect enthusiast this a site you deffinately want to bookmark, RSS feed, or tell your friends.
